Message from the President February 2008 Dear Members, I hope this month's edition of our newsletter finds you all doing well, recovering from our brief Austin winter and looking forward to spring! We have several events coming up in the next couple of months that I wanted to remind you about. First, we have our February General Meeting and Luncheon coming up on Tuesday, February 12th. CPA Lisa Bargsley, with Bargsley, Andrews and Steinbach, will be our featured speaker. Since tax time is right around the corner, Lisa will be discussing the Top Ten Tax Questions, which include self-employed borrower information, MI tax deductibility, and mortgage interest tax deductibility. Please be sure to respond to the E-vite invitation if you are planning to attend and for further details. The planning has already started for the 2008 Bottle Auction! We have booked the Holiday Inn for June 12th, so be sure to circle the date on your calendars, as you won't want to miss this event. The next Bottle Auction Committee Meeting will be held February 21st at 5:30 p.m. at the National City Retail Office, located at 11149 Research Boulevard, Suite 290, Austin, Texas. If you are interested in helping coordinate the Bottle Auction, please be sure to attend the meeting - we would love to have you! NAPMW - Austin's Wine Tasting Soiree and Membership Drive is going to be held March 6th from 5:30 - 7:30 at Water 2 Wine.
