Message from the President  

Hello Members,

June was a fantastic month and all the months of planning really paid off. As you all know June is the month of our Bottle Auction. The NAPMW Austin Bottle Auction is always a much anticipated event in the Austin Mortgage community and this year was certainly memorable! In addition to a record number of donations and guests, we were privileged to welcome NAPMW National President, Susan Semba and NAPMW Senior Vice President, Michelle Swanson MM, to Austin for the event! We hope you had an opportunity to meet these wonderful ladies!

It was also our first official opportunity to welcome our former NAPMW Austin President Juliana Brock in her new capacity as Vice President of the Central Region for NAPMW. We would like to thank Pam Skoglund, our bottle auction chair and her committee, Ellen, Angela, Jeanne, Gretchen, Shawn, Juliana, Candace and Cindy for the best year yet! We raised 10 thousand dollars and our association thanks all you for your support. We will be making a donation to Austin Hospice which is our chosen charity for the 2005-2006 year. By raising this money we will be able to offer excellent education opportunities this year, as well as help some of our members attend the National Convention.

We would also like to thank all of our attendees and table buyers as well. With your support NAPMW Austin had another record year!

Please look forward to and save the dates for August 9, 2005 for the FNMA Best Products and Practices Seminar. Our Seminar Presenter will be Gary Newman from FNMA who was a speaker at the National NAPMW Convention this year in St. Louis. Keep in mind, September's NAPMW 2005 Float Fest!
